From Mingora, take the main Swat River road north. Bahrain is a straightforward 2-hour drive on a well-paved road. No 4x4 required.

Frequent shared Hiaces run from Mingora's Grassy Ground stand to Bahrain all day. Journey takes 2–2.5 hrs, fare around Rs 150–200.
